Vote Jessica Maser for City Council
Biography
Sweetwater County has been my family’s home for generations. I grew up here, spending my early childhood in Rock Springs and moving to Green River in middle school. My parents have owned a local heavy-equipment construction business for more than 20 years. From the beginning, I held many positions and continued working for this company through my early adult years. Being part of a family owned and operated business provided me with an education in the construction and development process and a unique perspective on operating a business in Sweetwater County.
I attended the University of Wyoming earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. After graduation I returned to Sweetwater County where I married Mitch Maser, a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and together we have two beautiful little girls.
For the past 11 years we have been raising our family in Green River and calling it home. My husband works in mine maintenance at one of the local trona mines while I manage a storage unit facility. We both share a passion for real estate and have been working together restoring homes and managing rental properties since the beginning of our marriage. I value the importance of giving back to one’s community and have volunteered and held various roles in several organizations including Kari’s Access Awards, Sweetwater County Library Foundation, Village Park HOA Board of Directors, and wonder[FULL] Homeschool Group.
I have extensive experience working with diverse groups of people, understanding financial responsibilities, operating within a budget, and being part of a team. I hope to serve the people of Green River and specifically, the people of Ward 2, for the next four years. As a City Council member, I will use my education and experience to hear my neighbors’ concerns, oversee the use of city funds, and vote on policies and procedures that affect us all.
